Teachers of TheSchool of Science have made certain achievements in educating and cultivatingstudents. Many teachers have won “Shanghai Educating Award”, “Model of TeachingEthic” in the School of Science, “Good Teacher in the Mind of Students”, “Excellentclass Tutor” and first prize of “Education of “Honesty-Purity” Ideology andPolitics”. Besides, the teaching level of young teachers is rising gradually.In the past young teachers mathematics competitions, many teachers won prizes.Such as the one special award in the first-time “Advanced Education Cup”preliminary contest of lecturing the national physical foundation course byyoung teachers and one second prize in the quarter final; two first prizes inthe national college mathematics micro-course teaching design competition amongeast China division and one second prize; one third prize in “The ThirteenthNational Multimedia Courseware Competition” among advanced physics groups; two thirdprizes and one excellence award in “The Fifteenth National MultimediaCourseware Competition”; one first prize in the Shanghai University teachingCompetition for Young Teachers(natural scientific foundation discipline group);two second prizes and one third prize in young teachers’ lecturing competitionof Shanghai Institute of Technology. In addition to teaching, many awards havebeen obtained in other areas such as development of majors, guidance of allkinds of competitions and full development of teachers. More than 10 teachershave won the title of “Outstanding Teacher”. 3 teachers obtained the title of “Rookieof The Educational Circle”. 2 teachers have won the title of “Women RedFlag-Bearer” by Shanghai Educational System. Two first prizes and one thirdprize are won in the Multimedia Courseware Competition by Shanghai Institute ofTechnology.
