Since the establishment of majors was approved by the Shanghai Education Committee in 2008, the strength of professional teachers has been greatly improved through the combination of introduction and cultivation. Considering several aspects including title structure, education structure, age structure, overseas background and position background, we have constructed a reasonable teacherteam. Currently, there are 76 full-time teachers including 8 professors, 25 associate professors and 43 lectures. Among these 76 full-time teachers, 53(69.7%) of them have doctor degree and 17 (23.3%) of them are lectures with overseas study and visiting experience . 1 Oriental Scholar was recruited. At the same time, there are 13 (10.8%) teachers with enterprise work experience orenterprise practice for at least one year. Besides, 12 experts from LED industry and financial industry are recruited and 6 professors from ShanghaiJiaoTong University, Fudan University, Shanghai University of Science and Technology and Shanghai Normal University are recruited as part-time professors to guide the school. All of these effectively promote the construction and development of majors.
