In order to thoroughly implement the "Talent Strong School" strategy and further strengthen the talent introduction efforts of the College of Science in accordance with its development needs. On October 28th to 29th, our institution held a sub forum of the 8th International Youth Scholars Forum in 2025.

   On the evening of the 28th, Xu Jianqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Science, and representatives of domestic and foreign scholars and young teachers invited to attend the offline conference to participate in the symposium and exchange.

  Xu Jianqiang had cordial exchanges with each scholar, and he provided a detailed introduction to the development of the School of Science, as well as the policies and measures of the school in talent introduction and training. He patiently and meticulously answered each scholar's concerns about treatment, promotion, and other issues. Zhang Shengqiang and Dai Kai, winners of the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project and representatives of young teachers in the college, set an example and provided a detailed introduction to their scientific research growth after joining the College of Science.

The atmosphere of this symposium was harmonious and the participants were free to express themselves. Many scholars in attendance were willing to join the School of Science.

   On the afternoon of the 29th, the sub forum was chaired by Xu Jianqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Science, and attended by members of the Party and government team, responsible professors, department heads, and others. Zhu Liujuan, Director of the Human Resources Department of the university, and her delegation attended the forum exchange meeting. She warmly welcomed young talents from home and abroad to gather at the School of Science, and earnestly hoped that outstanding young scholars from around the world could join the warm family of the School of Science. She pointed out that the school attaches great importance to the construction of a young talent team and has always been committed to creating a "platform, support, and warmth" development environment for talents. The school particularly needs the participation of new forces, and then introduced in detail the policies of our school's talent introduction, talent cultivation, professional title promotion, and the application conditions for talent projects in Shanghai.

   The conference adopted a combination of online and offline methods, attracting more than 10 young and middle-aged scholars with excellent academic backgrounds and potential from around the world to attend. Scholars have graduated from well-known overseas universities such as the University of Ticino in Switzerland and the University of Granada in Spain, or from top domestic universities and research institutes such as Shandong University and East China Normal University. Scholars introduced their studies, research work, research fields, as well as international academic frontiers and hot topics through special reports, academic seminars, and other means.

      This forum has yielded fruitful results, with many scholars reaching an intention to introduce students, further strengthening the construction of our high-level faculty team, expanding the international perspective of our disciplines and scientific research, enhancing our international exchange level, and laying a solid foundation for the implementation of our future development plan and the promotion of international education.
