In order to further strengthen the construction of the faculty team in the college and comprehensively improve the level of education and teaching, the Party and government team and professional teacher representatives of the College of Science have recently conducted special research work at Harbin Institute of Technology and Harbin Engineering University.
The research team made their first visit to Harbin Institute of Technology and held exchanges and discussions with the School of Instrumentation and the School of Aerospace Science. Liu Jian, Dean of the School of Instrumentation, Yang Bin, Secretary of the Party Committee, and members of the team collectively attended the symposium. The two sides made in-depth exchanges around disciplines and majors, application of State Key Laboratory, construction of scientific research teams, student employment and other aspects. The Master+Team full staff education mechanism and overseas academic cooperation bases of the Instrument College have expanded the ideas for the development of our disciplines and scientific research. Dean Wu Ligang of the School of Astronautics and his team members attended the symposium and recommended doctoral students from related majors to come to our school for interviews.
Then, the research team hurried to Harbin Engineering University to have a centralized exchange with the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering and the School of Mathematical Sciences. Liu Zhihai, the president of the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, Gao Feng, the secretary of the Party Committee, and all members of the team, Sun Rongping, the secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mathematical Sciences, and Zhang Xiaowei, the vice president, attended the meeting. The focus of this exchange is on subject co construction, education and teaching reform, scientific research, international exchange and cooperation, and laboratory construction. After the meeting, we also visited the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Physics, providing new ideas and perspectives for the construction of the Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering and Applied Mathematics majors in our college, as well as the application for the Municipal Demonstration Experimental Center for University Physics.
This survey has a tight schedule and yielded fruitful results. It not only further learned the advanced management and education experience of domestic prestigious schools, but also expanded the work vision of our university's first level mathematics discipline master's program construction, physics first level master's program application, and university physics experimental center construction. It has important reference significance for the future development of our university.
