In order to further promote the improvement of young teachers' teaching and research level, on October 25th, the College of Science held the collective observation of the fifth Shanghai Young Teachers' Teaching Competition and the thematic learning meeting of the Central Group of the Party Committee of the College of Science. Members of the Party Committee Center Group of the College of Science, directors of teaching and research departments, and representatives of young teachers gathered together in the cloud to study and watch the wonderful live broadcast of the 5th Shanghai University Young Teachers Teaching Competition, and to cheer for teacher Yin Liangliang, who participated on behalf of the College of Science.

The participating teachers watched the wonderful live broadcast of basic natural science subjects. The whole competition gathered experts and good performances. The participating teachers presented an exquisite teaching feast for teachers with their elaborate teaching design, refined teaching language and wonderful teaching art, bringing a colorful classroom experience. The green pepper have expressed that they should strive to study teaching and business knowledge, bring good teaching experience to their classrooms, and constantly improve the quality of teaching.


Mr. Hu Hongjiang, a famous teacher of Ideological and political teaching of the Ministry of Education and teaching supervisor of the School of Science, gave a speech. He first gave full affirmation to the performance of the contestants and highly praised Yin Liangliang's practice of integrating ideological and political elements and innovative thinking into the teaching. He also started from the details by combining the specific cases in the competition. Some pertinent suggestions are put forward on how to use teaching skills to improve teaching design, how to sort out ideological and political education elements contained in professional courses, and how to improve classroom teaching skills. Then came the interactive communication session. Ms. Hu patiently answered the questions and puzzles of the teachers present in teaching.

Wang Fengchao, Deputy Dean of Teaching of the School of Science, encouraged young teachers and pointed out that the school constantly provides opportunities and builds platforms for young teachers to grow and develop and improve their skills. He encouraged young teachers to seize opportunities such as one-to-one teaching guidance and Peilin Cup teaching competition for young teachers to hone their basic teaching skills and improve their teaching level through teaching competition platforms at all levels. Chen Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Science, stressed that the School of Science undertakes the teaching responsibility of the whole school's basic natural science subjects, and has always attached great importance to the cultivation and improvement of teachers' teaching ability. Many famous teachers and models have emerged. He encouraged young teachers to devote themselves to teaching, practice their internal skills, catch up with and transcend themselves, and set up the teaching model brand of the School of Science. Li Yigui, dean of the School of Science, spoke highly of the positive effect of the teaching competition observation activity on improving the teaching level of young teachers. He stressed that young teachers are the new force for the development of the school and the school. The School of Science will actively create an atmosphere, introduce policies and take multiple measures to pave the way for the rapid growth of young teachers, promote the professional development of young teachers and provide core support for talent training.

This teaching observation activity not only created opportunities for young teachers to learn and communicate, tap their potential, and improve their classroom control ability, but also played a positive demonstration and leading role in the transformation of teaching thinking and rational integration of ideological and political consciousness into the curriculum, and further promoted the professional growth process of young and middle-aged teachers in the school.
