At 19:00 on November 17th, Ma Xuanhang and Yuan Linlin, members of Winner Youth Innovation Club and graduate students of College of Science, were invited to tell their team's business story on FM107.2 Shanghai People's Radio.

Ma Xuanhang, the founder of the project, confidently and professionally introduced the project principle of their entrepreneurial project Magnesium Li China -- Leader of flame retardant Preparation Based on waste Recycling : The common waste magnesium oxide produced by the factory is recycled and reused to prepare flame-retardant magnesium hydroxide. The synthesis route is completed through carbon removal and color reduction, hydration and microencapsulation, etc., to obtain finished magnesium hydroxide, so as to prevent harmful heavy metals from being buried in landfill and polluting the environment, and to complete the recycling and reuse of waste.

It is reported that the project is co-supervised by Professor Luo Chun, the founding advisor of Winner Youth Innovation Club of the College of Science, and Associate Professor Zhang Na of the School of Materials. The student team has discovered the source of creativity, completed the experiment, and prepared for the start-up financing. So far, it has entered the pilot stage. The project has won the first prize in the national Finals of the 2022 National College Student Business Elite Challenge, the first prize in Shanghai of the 12th E-commerce Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge, the first prize in Shanghai of the sixth Huichuang Youth and many other awards.

The future belongs to the youth, the hope is placed on the youth, this program is the first time that the students of the School of Science of Shanghai University of Technology were invited to do a live interview with the people of the whole city. The achievements of the school students' innovation and entrepreneurship education have been recognized by the society.
