In order to further evaluate the teaching quality of this semester, improve the teaching quality of the college, and comprehensively understand the teaching operation of the college and the problems encountered by teachers and students since the beginning of the semester, recently, the College of Science held a teacher symposium and a student symposium. The members of the Central Committee of the College of Science, the directors of the teaching and research departments of the college, backbone teachers, young teachers and other participating teachers,Student representatives from all colleges and majors held a discussion. The meeting was presided over by Wang Fengchao, Deputy Dean of the School of Science.

Wang Fengchao introduced the process of the meeting to the participants, and hoped the teachers present their problems in teaching and share their good experience and methods. The participants were able to speak freely about the problems encountered in the course and put forward good suggestions.

The teachers' symposium mainly focused on the reform and development of the college's public basic teaching and professional teaching, curriculum ideology and politics, the development of young teachers and other issues, and put forward valuable suggestions from the improvement of teaching facilities and teaching environment, the construction of study style and other aspects. At the same time, in the context of normal epidemic prevention and control, the problems existing in the process of teaching mainly offline and supplemented by online were exchanged and analyzed, and reasonable suggestions and schemes were proposed. In addition, the college also attaches great importance to the problems related to the vital interests of the teachers. The whole forum atmosphere is harmonious and the response is warm.

In the student forum, the directors of the teaching and research department, the responsible professors and the key teachers listened to the feedback of the students' representatives of the public basic courses of each school and the students' representatives of the science school on the teaching process, especially the problems encountered in the online and offline learning process since the beginning of the semester, as well as the suggestions and opinions, and gave their answers and responses one by one.
